Jonathan McQuarrie

Manager, Academic Planning

Jonathan McQuarrie holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of Toronto. Through his time there, he served as a course instructor and teaching assistant at all three of the university campuses, as well as with the Rotman School of Management. In his capacity as a Research Associate and Manager, Academic Program Analysis with HESA, Dr. McQuarrie has served as a lead author of several academic market research reports for universities and colleges across Canada that explore the intersections between academics and labour market demand. He also authored a review of supports for students with learning disabilities and ADHD on behalf of Economic and Social Development Canada and has worked on other governance reports. Dr. McQuarrie is also the author of the HESA report series, Monitoring Trends in Academic Programs, which provides academic administrators and faculty with an accessible picture of important trends for consideration when developing, approving, or modifying course offerings.
