Loyalist College: Program Prioritization Plan

We developed a Report Template and Dashboard that provided powerful tools for institutional monitoring of program indicators and ensured the ability to respond quickly to shifts in program demand.

HESA worked with Loyalist College on a large-scale Program Prioritization Process.  The project involved several phases.  After an extensive environmental scan, HESA selected a small set of carefully chosen, highly relevant indicators.  After developing a list of the most relevant KPIs, HESA conducted a site visit where we met the steering committee and the Institutional Planning and Research office.  By the end of the site visit, HESA developed and finalized a draft plan.  After then conducting a comprehensive Information Systems Analysis, HESA developed a user-friendly, intuitive, and efficient visual representation of quantitative data. By aligning these indicators with institutional needs and core decision-making objectives, the Report Templates and Dashboard provided powerful tools for institutional monitoring, ensuring the ability to respond quickly to emergent factors, and strengthen strategic planning processes.
